What are the British Podcast Awards?
The British Podcast awards were created by Matt Hill and Matt Deegan in 2017 to celebrate British podcasters and also offer a new way of discovering new British podcasts to podcast lovers.
The best part? Anyone can enter their podcast for a chance of winning an award: whether start or seasoned podcaster. (The only catch is you have to be a British podcaster ofcourse.)

Diversity in Podcasting
The British Podcast Awards team champions diversity and representation not just on the forefront by encouraging podcasters from varying backgrounds to apply. But they also promote diversity and representation by recruiting and collaborating with judges who are under represented in podcasting (namely women, Black British podcast hosts and other ethnic podcasters).
“We ask our judges to compare entries based on not only their quality and impact, but on their ability to give a voice to others.” – British Podcast Awards.
